LOL! Well, I have been sailing many years and it's really not that hard once you get the hang of it. Solo sailing has its advantages and overall that passage went well. Later on, I made the same passage north with a badly torn biceps and rotator cuff and I can tell you that was much more difficult. (I didn't realize the severity of the injury at the time.) People think they need a huge boat and all this stuff to sail, but if you're a competent sailor, it can be done without an engine or an autopilot on a very small boat. The sea is magic to a sailor. Makes everything worth it!
